Bio

Yuko Turnbull aka Yuko Romero aka Cheebees Mom :) Yuko Romero is an artist and hairstylist in vancouver. She was born on Christmas eve in Richmond, Canada. Creativity has always played a major role in her life, she has dabbled in jewlery making, sculpture, photography, flower aggranging, soap making and crafts. At 19 Yuko enrolled in the Fine arts program at Langara, she then transferd to UBC to the Fine arts Bachelor progam. Yuko's style is influenced by her love of nature, fashion illustration and her asian heritage. In her paintings Yuko uses acrylic, and mixed media. She is also exploring painting on wood panels allowing the natural grain to come through which brings a warmth and softness to her work . Her favoritve moments are spending time with lovely Ruby and her little furry angel Cheebee. Upcomming shows 2008 05 Zebra Club : Vancouver & 2008 05 Group show with JaInUs:Vancouver
